Certainly, Sir played at TT’s last Saturday. I first heard about them through last week’s Boston Phoenix. The idea of a Boston area band with Japanese only releases who also had Ben Gibbard’s guest vocals on their recently released album TAN!
They were also preceded by a couple of awesome bands including Chan Vangaalen, Haley Bonar, and Eject. Haley Bonar is a musician from St. Paul. A very awesome acoustic guitarist and keyboardist.
Certainly, Sir’s live show did not disappoint. Guitar the blended into a snare + cymbals + drum pad along with a keyboard and computer. Amazing live show for an indie electronic band.
