Apparently the reason everybody’s telling me that Sufjan Stevens is awesome is because Sufjan Stevens is awesome. - Mike Doughty

Very true Mike, very true. Get it via emusic.

Imogen Heap

Saturday, January 14th, 2006

I just got back from Imogen Heap concert at Paradise Rock club here in Boston. ZoĆ« Keating is along for the tour. I hadn’t heard Zoe’s music before but she plays a mean acoustic cello. Immi’s show is amazing. She has an awesome stage presence. Immi mostly played songs off her new album Speak for [...]

Certainly, Sir played at TT’s last Saturday. I first heard about them through last week’s Boston Phoenix. The idea of a Boston area band with Japanese only releases [...]

Ben Folds rocks Orpheum

Sunday, November 6th, 2005

Ben Folds played at the Orpheum on Saturday along with the Fray and Christine Baze as part of the Yellow Umbrella Tour. The opening acts were very good and helped to raise the anticipation for Ben.
Ben totally rocked. It was the best show of his that I have ever seen. He played some of my [...]

Last.fm makes it very easy to find out how I listen to music. By looking at my weekly charts you can easily tell that I listened to alot more music on my computer earlier this year when I was still in college. Since then I have spent alot less face time in front of my [...]

Elektrodelic Symphony Pt 1

Part one from October 26th. The episode in which I have an off the air call in request. I also call the show [...]

the week goes on

Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

The week goes on… and I am listening to the new album by Harvey Danger titled “Little by Little.” Even cooler you can listen to the whole album free as it was released via bittorrent. Of course you can go the old school route and buy it. Give it a listen, you don’t have anything [...]

Iris - Wrath

Saturday, September 10th, 2005

So I have had Wrath for one week now. I have listened to it at least a
dozen times. Probably way more then that.
“You’re the delivered one”
The cd is amazing. Definately the best I have gotten so far in 2005. A
nice evolution for Iris. The music is a nice progression from
Awakening. Some of my favorite tracks [...]
