Iris – Wrath
So I have had Wrath for one week now. I have listened to it at least a dozen times. Probably way more then that. “You’re the delivered one” The cd is amazing. Definately the best I have gotten so far in 2005. A nice evolution for Iris. The music is a nice progression from Awakening. [...]

oh my…
I don’t know if I can wait or not. The newest cd from Iris entitled “Wrath” is now on its way to me. I have listened to two of the tracks that are on myspace and they totally have me salivating. Sounds like Iris has put out another cd full of innovative songs. The few [...]

Late on a Sunday night
A few minutes with me… Tonight after a day lazily spent hacking I now have a wordpress theme based on the OSWD theme done by Andreas Viklund. This theme is also on my main home page on panaverse.com That site is also served up by a nice cute PHP script which loads a page based [...]

Ben Folds rocks Boston
Tonight Ben Folds along with Ben Lee and Rufus Wainwright played at the Bank of America Pavilion. Ben Lee played a short approximately 30 minute set. I had never heard Ben’s music before so it was a welcome introduction. I will need to go pick up one of his CDs soon. Then onto the main [...]

DeSol
DeSol, originally uploaded by spi516. DeSol played a free concert at Copley square this past Thursday. First time ever seeing them live and it was my first time hearing their music. They are an interesting band with a nice spanish/english mix. I picked up their CD which so far sounds really good.

Freezepop @ TT’s
Freezepop played at TT’s tonight. Along with Freezepop came trs-80, fashion flesh, and livesexact. Very good fun and the pre-freezepop bands put on a good show. First time ever seeing freezepop in a real music setting. Instead of a free show in the middle of a day. It makes quite a difference in the experience. [...]

Wilco in Boston
Tonight Wilco played at Agganis Arena on the BU campus. It was my first time heading over to BU from my apartment in Arlington. I managed to get over there in only 50 minutes which wasn’t that bad at all. Wilco totally rocks live. If you think their CDs are awesome you really have to [...]

Cars…
Today I almost joined Tim in having my car out of commission due to an accident. My apartment is right on Mass Ave. The road is fairly busy especially at 7:30 in the morning. I pulled up and looked both ways and didn’t see any vehicles. Then I looked right again and saw a truck [...]

Freezepop
Today was the Cambridge River Fest along the Charles river near Harvard Square. Freezepop played at the festival on the Middle East stage. They performed a 45 minute set. I even recognized a few of their songs. I have previously listened to and downloaded a few of their songs but had never gotten around to [...]

Avril Lavigne?? What about Joss Stone?
Mike thinks I love Avril to much. Since if you go to my AudioScrobbler profile and look at number 32 Avril shows up. I won’t say that I don’t even listen to Avril, that would be an outright lie. Her albums aren’t that bad if you listen to the songs in order. Its good music [...]
