FFR?

Tuesday, February 15th, 2005

While surfing around tonight I found FFR(Flash Flash Revolution). It really tests your keyboard dexterity. Though I would bet most people use the site with a gamepad of some type. It is pretty interesting to try it just using the keyboard.
I am not that great at it. Though eventually I could get better. I also [...]

You’re speaking in metaphors / That I hardly understand

Saturday, January 22nd, 2005

A new release from ADD, Rename is a top class act. The vocals are a familiar style to any synthpop fan but different enough to sound new. The programming and lyrics are top notch. The songs run the gamut from the strong powerful sounds of “Maybe Later I Will Fall” and “Heaven Forever” to the [...]

I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning is the second Bright Eyes album that will be released on January 25th. This album is the more “regular” Bright Eyes album. It has an acoustic music, modern country, type feel to it. With gorgeous harmonies by Emmylou Harris it has quite a different feel from “Digital Ash from a [...]

Every week this year www.kiddierecords.com is releasing an old vinyl record kid book as a free mp3 download. It will be cool to listen to some of the old stories. I bet I read a few of these books back when I was young.
Check out this weeks story of Robin Hood.

Take my heart, Don´t ever tear it apart

Michigan’s second album Ultimate Sky grew on me over the past few months that I had it. At first it didn’t grab me as quickly as their first CD did but that might just be because I am familiar with their style. However as I listened to the album I found that certain songs [...]

Universal Poplab

Universal Poplab has a strong debut CD.

Stephen Lynch

Sunday, November 14th, 2004

Stephen Lynch performed at the Rosza(”giant grape”) Center today.
It was totally amazing. Even with Lynch being doped up on drugs to fight his cough and him having to cough every few minutes. It didn’t seem to affect his singing that much. Lynch involved the audience througout the whole show and showed his ability to improvise [...]
