a new toy

Just about two and a half weeks ago Amin, Bryan, I went to NYC to bum around for the weekend.

Went to the top of the Rockafeller center building.

Made a late night Times Square McDonalds run.

Found a nice bike.

Met a cool dude in the subway.

Walked around Central Park.

John Hodgman visited Brookline tonight and explained to the residents of the Boston area how Hoboes are close to taking over the world. Though most of them escaped to outer space after the great depression.

I am finally realizing the deficiency of the LCD on my camera to show me how the picture actually turned out. Guess that is a good reason to know even more about how to compose a picture.

One month later

Now that July is almost over I have finally used up almost all of my vacation for this year.
First I went to DC for an Iris show at Nation which was absolutely amazing.

My parents came into town for the end of the week. We walked around town and had supper at the Union Oyster House.

Wil Wheaton in Boston

Wil Wheaton was in Boston last Sunday. He gave a reading at the Coolidge Corner Theater and signed books at the Brookline Booksmith. Wil is a very engaging performer and the talk was very lively with alot of banter and crowd interaction.

Along with DC/Baltimore, San Fran, and maybe Raleigh. In the month of July I will be flying into the glorious airport of CMX. I will be at my parents place on Lake Superior for the week of the 23rd to the 29th. I fly in late on the 21st and back out in the afternoon [...]

Mice army

The mice army want a rematch. Last count is 1 to 0(spi vs mice). Saw the bugger running across our countertop earlier today. Oh the joys of a living in a new to me but old apartment.
I took the hammer but can’t quite do much with that… will have to resort to the trap.
