Blue Man Group with Venus Hum - The Complex Tour

I just got back from seeing Blue Man Group performing live in Minneapolis MN.

If you haven't had a chance to give their new CD the complex a listen do yourself a favor and pick it up. Experimental electronica with some really crazy instruments. The lighting effects and show production are just amazing. Very very cool show give yourself a treat and see them if they stop in your town.

Intuition - Further

I recieved Intuition - Further today. It absolutely rocks. They have a nice mix of songs, some fast some slow, all with great lyrics, vocals, and programming.

Some of my new favorites:

"Danger" - I absolutely love the chorus "Lady, I see the danger / Lady, I was the stranger for so long". Very very touching and an amazing vocal range. I was floored when I first heard it.

"Fear of Hard Times" is a really ...

Breve

I found an interesting 3D simulation environment today. Its designed for simulation of Decentralized systems and Artificial life. The few demos I used are pretty interesting. Though my Walker never really learned to walk that well. :(

Its called breve. Check it out.

To bad its not open source, but it is freeware. If that counts for anything.

Multiplayer Tetris

So today I was looking at linuxbrit.co.uk and what do I see? Multiplayer tetris. It happens that there is a version of tetris available that will let you bash 5 of your friends around over the internet. What a crazy idea! I have been looking for something like this for a long time.
Good thing there is a linux client/server available.
Check out:
