I have been listening to this cd and Devolution straight since I got them last week(Friday and Tuesday respectively). This cd is amazingly well crafted. The songs flow from one to another and just stick with you long after they are done playing. Some of these songs are so melodic that they have me singing long after the song is done.

Some of my current favorites:

When I'm Not Around - A very nice melodic song. Amazing how a song can affect you. After a few listens this song continues to amaze me.

A whole month without updates. Guess I am slipping a bit. I did put a picture of my desktop up on my screenshots page a while back. I have switched over to using FVWM.

Eventually I will update my CD database and include more awsome features. :)

De/Vision just released their new cd "Devolution" on January 3rd. I finally got my copy this week. ADD is distributing the USA release of the cd.

This CD is more of a mix of song tempos then Two was. It has some slow and mellow tracks, but they are offset by some harder faster songs. Overall its a good mix and has some real gems.

I really like:
Drifting Sideways - A faster song with a catchy chorus and some really nice sound effects.
Far Too Deep - I really like the chorus and sound of this song. The whistle is ...

Slowly but surely I am collecting the back catalog of many of my favorite artists. Recently I was able to get Unversed in Love and World Without End at a discount so I did.

Overall I can see that both of these disks are from the early workings of De/Vision. They don't have the maturity or elegence that Two has. I like them on their own though.

I finally took the plunge and got another Cosmicity CD. After listening to "Pure" for a long time I recieved the 1999 release "Rennaissance". A very nice CD, this CD is similar to Pure in sound and content. A relaxing CD, with its share of slow songs along with a few more fast paced catchy tracks. It will be interesting to get more of Cosmicity's back catalog to see how his sound has changed over the years.
