I have been on a music binge recently. Late last week I got all 4 Iris singles. They totally rock. I haven't listened to them enough to know which mixes I like best, but I totally love the b-side off the Saving Time single "Everybody Is Life". That song absolutely rocks!

I also recieved Beborn Beton Tales from Another World. This is a collection for us US fans that haven't been introduced to Beborn Beton proper. It has some really cool songs on it. I like:

Intuition has just released their new single "Two" on A Different Drum records. A six track MCD with 2 b-sides one instrumental and the other a really awsome song called "So Easy". A really nice single and connotates good things for the future. I am really looking forward to their debut album sometime early next year.

Both the title track and So Easy are becoming a signature of Intuition music. Poppy, bouncy, catchy synth driven music that gets a hold of you and won't let go. Very awsome vocals and the lyrics are made to stick in your mind ...

In linux it is really easy to do MAC address spoofing. All you need is the trust command line tool ifconfig.
Enter the command as follows:
ifconfig eth0 hw ether 00:00:AA:AA:AA:AA
Change eth0 to your card name and "00:00:AA:AA:AA:AA" to the address you want to spoof.
Before issuing the command you need to take down the card by issuing "ifconfig eth0 down". Then afterwards issue "ifconfig eth0 up". And you will be in business.

They are Fools Errand by Robin Hobb, a Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, Wizardborn by David Farland. All very good books and they are highly recommended.

I now have the start of my CD collection up online. I have a list of all my CDs available here. I have the track listings loaded in my database and will make them available soon. Eventually I want to include CD cover pictures and lyrics if possible. I will also it possible to filter the database on any criteria.

So I have some new music in my posession these days. First of is the new Color Theory cd Something Beautiful. This cd is totally acoustic no synths at all. The lyrics and vocals are just as moving as ever. The music sounds pretty similar to what was produced ealier. It does have that little bit of a real tinge to it though. Nothing wrong here just some more solid "piano-pop" for the 21st century.

First on the list is the PI Code dealing with oddities found if you manipulate the number pi into base 26. Really interesting codes are revealed.

Next on the list of sites that must be visited is the Fun with Words. Visit the site to learn some useless trivia that will always be sure to impress the neighbors and friends.

Today I made a few visual enhancements to my web site. I really like the new navigation bar which allows me to place descriptions along with the links. I like the look of it overall.

I also added a cool background picture. This pic comes from the Echo Image single Standing Alone. A really good single with the awsome B-Side "Will You Know?".

I just recieved my Plextor 40/12/40 burner from newegg.com. Man does this drive rock. Burns a full 80min CD in \~3 minutes. I can burn a cd while going to the bathroom rather then while I am eating dinner. With the Burn-proof technology you won't get any coasters either. The only ones I have gotten where when my computer hard froze because of some of other problem unrelated to the burning.
Works great under linux with ide-scsi emulation and cdrecord/xcdroast. Made a audio CD and a few data CDs all work perfectly.

I recieved my Iris Unknown single in the mail today. In short it rocks. The title track is really awsome. It is interesting how the song starts out really different from the other Iris songs, its slow and deliberate beat. It quickly turns into the Iris that I have come to know and love. Of the remixs, I like the Sub Rosa and Spatial Dub mixes the best. The other two aren't that bad though Datguy's mix really slows down the song.

To bad they didn't choose to include remixes of any other songs or a b-side ...
