Luckily the newest version(0.17) is in dapper drake and is supposed to fix a few of the memory leaks that are in 0.15 that is in breezy. There are no special dependencies on dapper so dpkg installs it just fine on breezy.
I installed gamin and libgamin0(download then dpkg -i filename ...

Certainly, Sir played at TT's last Saturday. I first heard about them through last week's Boston Phoenix. The idea of a Boston area band with Japanese only releases who also had Ben Gibbard's guest vocals on their recently released album TAN!
They were also ...

Arrested Development is not going to be aired for the rest of the month! This season has been reduced to 13 episodes. So the show will most likely be cancled. This totally sucks! One of the best shows on TV and Fox goes and cancles it. Damn you Fox! Stealing one of best things to happen to the 1/2 hour comedy ever.

The WMAA is two buildings in an old mill complex that have been renovated into studios for artists. I was able to walk around and visit many different artists and see what they did and look at displays of their work.
I was able to chat with John Carrera, who was featured on DriveTime, about his almost completed Pictorial Webster's.
When I was there I happened to run into Ravi and Sonia. They ...

Ben totally rocked. It was the best show of his that I have ever seen. He played some of my favorite songs, "Brick" "The Luckiest" "Bitches Ain't Shit" "Zak and Sara" "Still Fighting It" "Bastard" "Landed". He performed "Jesusland" and then decided that the original version wouldn't be very radio friendly. So he played the radio friendly version of "Jesusland". Ben also ...

By looking at my weekly charts you can easily tell that I listened to alot more music on my computer earlier this year when I was still in college. Since then I have spent alot less face time in front of my computer at home. I still listen to music fairly often at work but usually use my iRiver which last.fm has no way to track.
It also become apparent that I listen to artists about the same amount. No one artist gets most favored ...

Part one from October 26th. The episode in which I have an off the air call in request. I also call the show Elektrodelic Synthpop all throughout and talk really fast. Maybe it was the lack of sleep and being up at 3am. Of course like any good WMTU DJ, I keep my on air time to a scant few seconds. The audio is a little bit ...

Of course you can go the old school route and buy it. Give it a listen, you don't have anything to loose.
On other notes. I am not that much more nearsighted then I was two years ago, which is cool, so I can use my free pair of glasses to get a pair of sunglasses. Serenity is a very good flick, it was ...
